Strumble Diary 08/08/2016

A lovely sunny morning today with a brisk NW wind producing some great swell conditions in the tide race approaching high tide. Things were quiet at first with Adrian reporting few sightings before I arrived. A short while into the session a group of about six porpoises moved in and started feeding to the NE of the lookout. As the turbulent race moved the swells around the porps were having to break surface more vigourously than normal which lead to some great photo ops. Several breeches of which I managed to catch one or two but I missed more than I got. Shot of the day was two out together which was very pleasing to see. One not so sharp shot shows another porp with a possibly damaged fin and one I don't recall seeing before. Enjoy!
