Porps pop up for our new interns!

So Laura and Rens had been here almost two weeks and poor weather and other stuff had meant they had not seen any porpoises yet. It was still blowing hard this morning but the rain held off for an hour so I decided to give it a try at Strumble with them. Bingo! we had not been there more than a few minutes when Laura and I both saw her first porpoise as it surfaced in some big waves! Not easy as it was quite distant and pretty overcast but a minute or two later Rens had his first Strumble porpoise. Over the next half hour we had several more sightings as well as a  grey seal, I did not manage a picture but these archive pic's give a fair impression!
