Strumble Diary 01/03/2017

Well, a happy St David's Day to you all.

I started the session around 09.15 on the top of the tide with the first sighting coming within ten minutes or so. Several porps were sighted although fairly far out in the tide race. As the tide slackened the sightings dropped for 45 mins or so and as the ebb started the porps moved back in. Cliff, Anna, Rens and Laura joined me for the final part of the session with new binos on test and several camaeras ready to capture the action. Sightings of note were a mother and calf pair and the calf was later sighted on it's own with mother hunting close by. Also a tail slapper and one or two marked/scarred animals noted on processing and shown below.
