Strumble Diary 17/04/2017 Easter Sea Trust Porpoise Watch

A good gathering at Strumble today for the Sea Trust Easter Porpoise Watch and Easter egg roll. Cliff will no doubt post with more detail on that so I'll concentrate on my usual porp sightings.  When I arrived around 13.45 there were a few porps showing to the NW with several gannets circling and pointing the way to look. Over the session the sightings were frequent although they were not showing that well at times. As per usual as the ebb tide progressed the porps moved off more to the west and by 15.30 they had all but gone from view with only the odd sighting from then on. Session ended at 16.30.
