Strumble Diary: 7/5/17 Thar she blows! apparently.... any how plenty of porp's!

Laura and Rens were aboard the Stena Europe doing a survey with Rens Mother and Father Leonie and Ben. Chantelle rang to tell me they had seen a Minke off Strumble which is one hell of a way to start a survey! Hope they got some pic's! No doubt more of the survey tomorrow!
Sadly by the time I got there it must have moved on, but the gorgeous sunshine, a myriad of swallows coming in and quite a few porpoises made up for it...

This group of three above and below were shot on the same settings, in the same light as the others but looked as dark as usual. For some reason others seemed a lot paler. It may have just been the angle no doubt Ken would know!

This mother with a small calf was a nice bonus although such a small calf would normally be closer...
