A weather window and new interns Fenella Sophia and Sophie joined me on the bridge of the Stena Europe for their first Ferry Survey, The outward was a bit choppier than expected and apart from a Risso's first spotted at distance but which the girls saw close but briefly was quite uneventful.
The return was not particularly spectacular given the sea was much calmer but we did get good views of Porpoises and Common Dolphins tho/'not good images of the cetaceans! Thanks again to Captain Richard Cleary and all his crew as well as Stena shore side team!
