Strumble Diary 01/09/2017 PM Session

With the wind having swung around to the north things were decidedly cooler at Strumble this afternoon. No dolphins either and on the porpoise front things were quieter too. Very little action to start with then just before the tide race formed on the flood tide I spotted a group of several adult porps rounding Mackerel Point heading my way. I tracked them for a few minutes until they separated to forage. They quickly moved off and things went quiet again with an hour or so passing before any further sightings. By 4.30 the action had stopped so I called it a day at that point.
