Pen Anglas porpoises and Risso's.

On Thursday Holly lead her volunteers over to Pen Anglas, the point that defines the southern end of Fishguard Bay opposite Dinas Head on the other side. We often see Porpoises and Gannets in that area from the breakwater but its about a mile away and too far away to get anything other than record shots. Holly's intention was to reconnoiter Pen Anglas as another photo ID site. Seems to have been a quite good idea as can be seen from Anthony's pic's! Below are some rather fine pic's of Jupiter and her well grown calf which I photographed last week off the breakwater!

These Risso's were a bit of an unexpected bonus! seen mixing with the porpoises, presumably feeding together!
