Strumble Diary 13/11/2018

First time out at Strumble for a while due to family break and then the bad weather. This time last year we were watching the new young seals bringing up Octopus and seeing Rissos frequently. Well guess what? The young seals are again feeding on Octopus and there are a good few Rissos about. Todays session was poor as far as porpoise were concerned with only two or three sighted over a three hour period. Holly and Rob went to the breakwater before Strumble and saw several porpoise off  Crincoed point so I guess that was the Strumble bunch on a day out. At the same time I was seeing several Rissos at Strumble but they were moving fast and only surfacing very briefly so appologies for the less than perfect images because to capture them the lens was swinging wildly so not my usual standard but a record all the same.
