First session in quite a while thanks to some work and foul weather. The scene looked fairly empty and bleak on arrival and as I set up Sophie and Ben arrived for the Wednesday porp ID session.Things were quiet for ten minutes or so and then I spotted that tall telltale fin of a large Rissos off to the NW. All eyes on the sea then and it wasn't long before we had more sightings although they were very brief and it was a good thirty minutes later that I got my first shot of a lone animal. The light was very poor with dark skies and some very blustery squalls adding to the mix. The Rissos had now passed to the east and as happened many times before some twenty minutes later they were coming back heading west. The light had improved a bit by this time so we got more shots in the bag. In all around eight animals with sightings over a two hour period. A mix of adults and a few juveniles and one quite young calf. Possibly the same group that have been around since October.
