An early evening visit to the Green Breakwater (Fishguard Harbour) did not seem very promising but a single tell-tale Gannet gave away the presence of at least two dolphins. They looked like the female and well grown calf that seem to be semi resident in the bay this year. They seemed pretty wary, had possibly followed a yacht in. They were frustratingly random in their surfacings and eventually disappeared beyond Pen Anglas.
