A trip to the north breakwater late in the afternoon almost proved fruitless but was saved by a very brief appearance by several Common Dolphin well off the Cow & calf as they passed through toward Pen Anglas. If it wasn't for their splashes whipped up by the wind I wouldn't have seen them. I was caught out again later by not one but three Peregrine Falcons which had all but passed me so just time to get off a couple of shots before they headed off accross the bay. Also a young razorbill resting in the sun.
Please excuse the quality the heat shimmer was awful.
