Strumble diary 14/04/2021

Another productive morning session on the ebb tide at Strumble today. As cliff said Holly and the team were kept busy with porp sightings and I was doing my best to keep on top of them also. Sightings were mostly quite distant with only a couple coming closer at the bottom of the tide. Lovely to be joined by young naturalist/gardener/bird watcher and great young man who goes by the online name of Green Fingered George. He's sort of grown up with us as he visits every year and always shows great interest in our surveys. Have a great break George and your parents of course and we'll no doubt see you next year.

One distinctively marked porpoise today and also a Greylag Goose.

Yes that is a goose you see before you
