To beat the dreaded heat haze/shimmer I decided to get out early before things warmed up so I was at Strumble for 7.30am. Having said that it was more like an autumn morning anyway with an overcast sky and a chill NE wind to start with. All I needed then were Porpoise on the flood tide. A disappointing four were all I saw for the three hours I was there, three of which were rushing through the tide race and impossible to capture in camera but one did play ball as it passed east to west in front of the lookout. So a more pleasing set of images than of late and in that respect I'm happier to post them.
