Strumble Dairy: Three out of five aint bad in one session!

Sea Trust's Monday Photo ID  team clocked up Risso's Dolphin, Porpoise and Common Dolphin three of our Pembrokeshire "Big Five" in their latest two hour survey at Strumble Head today.  (Risso's Common and Bottlenose Dolphin + Minke Whale and Porpoise) There may be other places in the UK where three different species of cetacean are quite often seen from the shore all on the same day but if there are, I would like to know about them! Heres Fran Eggby, photo ID volunteer's shot of some Common Dolphins taken today!

... some girls want all the fun! so Carrie hung on after the other with expert baby, Jackson! And had her reward! Porpoises started showing again, at least six by the lighthouse. Then gannets started gathering and beneath them a small pod of Common Dolphins! Nice one Carrie!
