Strumble Diary 15/10/21. (NE breeze very flat light.)

The last couple of hours of the rising tide yesterday afternoon produced not a single porpoise! A single sneaky Risso's Dolphin passed by close almost  under the radar with only a couple of brief glimpses heading West .A passer by came in to the lookout and told us he had seen 3 more heading East.

A single Bonxie was seen at extreme distance heading further out and then harrying a jv gull, its headlights showing well in the dog-fight  before wheeling back towards us giving better views. It then joined with, and seemed to try and mug another Bonxie before settling on the water.. A little while later it passed us heading west. What was presumably a third bird passed by, unusually at some considerable  height, also heading west.
