As reported on previous days, large numbers of Common Dolphins were at Strumble Head this afternoon, accompanied as ever by good numbers of Gannets. A large school of dolphins was also visible from Harbour Village this morning. These were more distant but gave the impression of being Bottlenose Dolphins - wouldn't stake my house on it though. Again, Gannets were in close attendance.
Interesting Clive, we have had bottles passing by heading into Cardigan Bay in late January and on into March, though this if they were is pretty early! Also, Sea Trust Thursday photo ID volunteers also had common Dolphins, they seem to be staying around!
