Thankfully the weather today was far better than yesterday's washout which allowed for a session on the early afternoon dropping tide. A fresh westerly against the tide produced some lumpy conditions but at least the sun was shining. Bang on cue as the tide race picked up a few porpoise moved in and were speedily moving through the race chasing prey. I was joined a third of the way through my session by Cliff and Fran and together we watched until the porpoise pushed off to the west.
