An early Whatsapp post from Holly had me up and out this morning with Commons spotted in the bay. When I got to the harbour they were milling around close to the ferry. As they moved out toward Lower Fishguard I made my way out to the outer breakwater in case they headed out. I observed them for a good hour as they moved back and forth accross the bay from Saddle Point to the ferry area and into the fisherman's quay and the inner breakwater. Having rushed out without a coat, by this time I was bloomin freezing so I made my way back to the Ocean Lab for a warm up.
