Strumble diary 10/05/2024

Another glorious morning as I arrived at Strumble. The remnants of the flood tidal race were still evident and a few porpoise feeding well out to the NE. The tide turned and slowly picked up. The next sighting was of two small groups of Commons coming in from the East and slowly moving NW and eventually out of sight. Porpoise were then visible 180Deg from East to West and well spread out accross my view. Several animals came close in and again today a few marked and may be new for the catalogue. Four hours into the watch and the porps had moved off to the West so I called it a day, returning home to process the images.

Coastal Squil is now showing well along the clifftops.
