Strumble Diary 29/10/2024

I was out at Strumble for an early start at 07.15am to start my watch before the tide race developed. My first sightings were of  several common dolphin off to the NW cruising through the now increasing ebb flow. The tide race formed a bit later and a few porpoise did come in to forage. The action was short with my first porpoise shot at 09.54, and my last at 10.05 which is not uncommon on some dropping tides. I stayed a further half hour or so and saw more distant commons before deciding to call it a day at just after 10.30am.
