Not the best of mornings but it was starting to brighten up and the tides were right. When I got to Strumble there was a light drizzle which passed through quite quickly. I could see thirty or so Gannets wheeling and diving some way out so was hopeful of some cetacean action. I set up and settled in and soon spotted Commons under the Gannets darting around chasing fish. Twenty to thirty at a guess but well spread out in front of me. The brightening up was short lived and the light was very poor as more cloud and drizzle moved over me. A few porpoise started to move in and I took what I could before the conditions made it impossible to get any usable images. So rain stopped play as they say but tomorrow is another day as they also say.
I think you'll see from this image why staying any further was pointless, but that's Autumnal weather for you.
