Strumble Diary 08/03/2021

Well it's a much belated Happy New year to you all from yours truly. Having been sidelined by a medical issue for the past four months it's time to put the cold weather gear on, get the camera and binos out and start surveying again, all within the Welsh Government Covid guidelines of course. It was a lovely bright sunny day to have as my first day back but that was all nature gave me. It was extremely cold even with the light WSW wind and the shelter of the lookout. I wasn't expecting big numbers as we are on small tides and that was how it panned out. I'd estimate ten or so animals in total through the two hour session with most at distance beyond the tide race. One or two came closer later in the session but no markings to note.
