following the saga of the everchanging weather forecast last week
we ventured out 20 miles fishing yesterday with waterproofs and wellies
at around 12 miles sw of milford there was a group of 100 to 200 common dolphins
they were swimming slowly tightly grouped with lots of small ones we watched from a distance as it was a maternal group
other sightings 3 or 4 small groups of common dolphins
no whales seen,the sea state 4 ish wind w 14mph not the best day for whale watching
as the conditions were quite bumpy and we got pretty wet!
