Strumble Diary guess what? more Porp's!

Cold this morning with a persistent NE breeze as I spent an hour searching for Porpoises. Three Lesser Black Back Gulls (a bit of a rarity here in the dark months), passed by heading North  The tide was just ebbing and it took a while for them to arrive.

Nick McIlvenna joined me and we began to spot odd groups of Porpoises moving along with the tide. Sadly my shots are not up to Kens standard and I missed a lot more than I hit. A couple of gannets and the usual gulls helped us to keep track of the porpoises. The gannets although passing by in occasional ones and twos over the winter months rarely stopped to fish but these did,  so maybe a sign of spring on the way!
