Strumble Diary Sunday 06/03/16

Every now and then I try to get a different angle on a subject and in most wildlife photography the closer you can get the better the results. Given the wind direction and strength today I decided to leave the comforts of the lookout and venture down lower to the water on a headland nearer the lighthouse. I was hoping for the porps to be in the same numbers and area as yesterday but alas it was not to be. However, early in the flood tide a few animals did come in close for a short while including a mother and calf and I did get my desired shots. A grey seal put in a brief appearance too.
