Strumble Diary 11/06/2017

With no bottlenose to be seen on the breakwater I decided to take a run out to Strumble and although very late on the ebb tide and in very challenging conditions the porps were there. As they were mostly off the island I stayed in the car park which gave me a better view from a raised viewpoint and I doubt I'd have seen half of them from the lookout as the swells were running high. The trade off for this was buffeting in the strong westerly wind so I was delighted to get the shots I did manage. Highlight was a single image of a returning marked porp which I've outlined in the shots below.
