A quiet start to the session at Strumble today as I waited for the ebb flow to build into a tide race. Once it did there was plenty of action with a host of gannets and gulls in attendance over some very quickly moving porps. The action continued all through the ebb right up until low water by which time the action had moved way off to the west. The highlight were a mother and calf spotted early in the session and I spotted the calf on it's own several times but it was only later that I managed a couple of shots of it. It was fairly young I'd say as it wasn't any more than 2.5-3 ft long.
