Sterna ferry survey

Despite a foggy morning the visibility improved so Steve and the Walrus set off on Stenna Europe for a survey. Cliff picked up a porpoise off Pen Anglas. We had an unusually quiet spell off Strumble but Steve spotted two porps about 5 miles out. A very quiet period then until we were near the Tusker where we picked up a pod of about 8 common dolphins just as we disappeared into a bank of fog. The survey was stopped due to zero visibility. Photos will be added when we get to our computers. Now I have checked the photos it looks like a calf in the pod of common dolphins.
