Porthgain Dolphins.
I spent an hour sea watching last night at Porthgain Beacon whilst my OH
was gig rowing. Lots of s
sea bird activity with auks, gulls and plenty of gannets feeding. No porps
to be seen, but a small pod of 12 to 15 Commons with a couple of youngsters
hove into view from the north east about 1 km out. They moved south west
quickly but showed up well for 3 to 4 minutes they were visible. My first
sighting of commons from here.
