Easter Monday egg roll and Porpoise Watch.

On a lovely sunny and warm afternoon we gathered at the lookout for the annual Easter egg roll. Eggspectations were high but sadly no families joined us this year, but those that did attend had a sight of a few porpoise and a couple of seals before rolling eggs and having a good laugh. Cliff got things underway with an eggspert roll which got to the front of the lookout. Stevo, with his blown egg with a cotton wool dressing at each end tried hard but sadly his egg veered off and stopped well short. Rob Havard being egged on by the rest of them and with concentration all over his face started in fine style only to see his egg divest itself of it's shell and disappear over the edge leaving Rob concentration gone and egg all over his face so to speak. Kieth made a valiant attempt only to see his egg get stuck in the long grass which left him eggstremely disappointed. Sea Trust friends Richard and Sean fared not much better as Richard's effort went astray causing me to dive to the side to save getting struck by a speeding egg. Seans casual approach netted him second place at this stage. The roll of the day though went to volunteer Telva as her egg snaked it's way down the slope finishing an eggs width in front of Sean and Cliff. My own effort was zooming down the slope and destined for glory only to speed up even more and cross the dead ball line (AKA) the cliff and hence was disqualified. A bit of a laugh though and thanks to all that attended.

And the winner is!!!
