Well the year is moving on but the weather is set to stay in winter mode for a little longer at least with this morning being cold, grey and quite dreary. The ebb was well underway when I arrived with a good strong flow pushing out to the west. It was some thirty minutes or so before my first sighting which was a single animal close in which was shortly followed by several sightings over the following hour or so. It would have been nicer to have good light but we don't always get perfect conditions so we have to take what's there. No noticeably marked animals today but a reasonable session with around a dozen porps through the two hours that I was there before they moved off to the west.
