Strumble Diary 09/10/2019

Today we had a rising tide through the afternoon being pushed along by a stiff westerly wind. Fairly heavy swells made spotting porpoise a challenge but not too concerned when something bigger and better comes along. Scanning around looking through the binos and up pops the large telltale fin of a Rissos dolphin followed by another then another then juveniles then a couple of calves. What followed then was a delightful show as the younger ones started spy hopping and surging in the swells before us. I was in the company of Cliff and Fran and together we enjoyed ten minutes or so of these magnificent creatures showing what freedom is really about. Here's a selection of the images captured. Enjoy!!
