Strumble Diary 16/02/2020

In the height of storm Dennis when most of us were waking up and looking for the sunday papers our intrepid little porpoises were braving the swells to carry on their daily grind of finding enough food to survive. The swells were heavy and the wind barreling through but out off Strumble in their favourite feeding area they were busy foraging. Just a couple at first and then more but distant slowly came in to feed. About twelve or so over the session some showing quite well and I even caught one breaching. A fair number of birds too with the best show being a Great Northern Diver just below the lookout. Conditions for images was not great but good for a record all the same.
