Today could have been a re-run of yesterday with one difference, sunshine! Strong wind from the west.Tick! Heavy loppy swells. Tick! Lots or porpoise. Tick! Hard to see. Tick! The blustery conditions had also brought out the birders with five seated in the lookout when I arrived. They had spotted several common dolphin and two rissos dolphin earlier so they had given me hope of a decent session. Frustration was the buzzword for most of the session though as the porps darted all over and were mostly hidden by the large swells building as the tide dropped. It was only in the last twenty minutes of action that some decided to show for the camera and seemed to be enjoying surfing the big swells in the tide race, most probably having had their fill of fish.
