The Thursday ID Group; Fran, Rose, Ben, Kathy and Dawn, hosted Michelle Hurst of "Catalyst Cymru" this morning. As luck would have it, the porpoises and Gannets put on a pretty spectacular display.The tide had just turned and was making and as it did, the Porpoises moved closer from the west.
There was a veritable cloud of Gulls and Gannets feeding over them and I suspect there were a lot more porpoises present than we estimated. It is always difficult to estimate numbers and we probably underestimate numbers rather than overestimate.
It was nice to meet Sue and Chris from Neyland who took a keen interest in what we were doing. The pic;s are just a few of mine to give a taste of what was happening but only record shots from my trusty little Canon bridge camera!
