Strumble Diary 14/11/2022 More Risso's Action

The Monday survey team were an hour in before I joined them. They had just sighted some distant Rissos which had shown briefly before seemingly vanishing. I got the camera set up and settled in scanning around for anything else that me be there. Andy spotted the Risso's again so we got straight on them and over the next hour or so tracked them as they moved around in front of us. Mostly more distant than yesterday's sighting and by the number of young animals were a different pod than that sighted yesterday. As the tide moved on we started to see Porpoise a little closer in but they were in stealth mode and weren't showing very well at all. I'd guess ten to twelve Risso's and about the same number of Porpoise for the session.
