Possible rare sighting at Strumble today 26/02/2025

A bit of a puzzler for you today. A pod of Commons came through this morning and as usual I was attempting to get as many flyers as possible. By pure chance I caught an animal on the edge of the frame as I was scanning around. I didn't think anything of it so I carried on shooting the commons whom it was  travelling with. Once they had passed by and the action died down as usual I checked through the images on the back screen of the camera. At first glance I was surprised and thought oh! it's a Porpoise. Size was right, body shape was right, and I often see some porpoise acting like dolphins but not usually in amongst dolphins. I looked closer and then saw the markings (although more subdued, less defined and not so bodily aligned) which suggested Common Dolphin. My eyes though were still telling me Porpoise or should it be Compoise?

I have heared of some hybridisation in cetaceans but never between Porpoise and Commons so this could well be a first. If it is it's very rare and I doubt I'll ever see anything like this again. What I wonder do you think?
